These immediately made me think of the Paris, je t'aime Vogue (I think) shoot.

It's shot in the same location, Cafe Figaro, in LA. This was also the location of Madonna's Louis Spring 09 campaign, all three of these were shot by Meisel as well.

I'm not a fan of all the models looking the same either, but I do like how the shoot has a 1920s feel to it :)

i like it! i don't think they look bored, more robotic; as if the partying is some kind of mandatory thing they do regardless of how they feel about it.

I love the art deco style clothing, but even though they have fairly interesting poses their expressions are so plain!
Take the one with the woman moving the table, or the little dance in picture two - no emotion or passion.
