For a second, I thought I might actually like some of these, but a majority of the images were still tacky as hell. I'm always so disappointed in his work. :(

I'm pretty sure it's Sheryl Lee. I mainly remember her from "Twin Peaks". Beautiful photo.

This is porn. there are few lines between artistic nudism,erotic and porno.
he always crosses them, and it all become vulgar pornographic photos.
Helmut Newton!! never liked his work
neither do i.

Ellen Von Unwerth and Bettina Rheims are two of my favorite photographers.
they do nudism and eroticism but never cross those lines, that immediately become pornographic. its a shame people like Vogue and Bazaar applauds this type of work. he is talented but the ideas are not artistic.
I've seen more artistic photographs in playboy. playboy never do vulgar and cheap porn i must say.

Why the mish-mash of magazines, very few of these say avant-garde fashion photography, mostly errotic, or even pornographic. Why exactly is Amanda Lepore listed as a model in the description, she seems more of a celebrity to me.

I think people either love or hate LaChapelle.
I fall into the latter.
I love most of these, but I agree that some of his idea's are a bit 'hit or miss'.
