Yup, I'm pretty sure it was for Americana Manhasset, F/W 2006. It's a high-end store or something? Idk.

Fuck, I designed my wedding dress in a very similar style to this dress, with pleating and everything. This is the first time I've seen this shoot.

Can anyone tell me the designer of that gown?

the styling in this shoot is gorgeous. stam looks fantastic. my only complaint is she doesn't really have a huge range of expression...

I don't think she ever does... it seems to be a chronic problem with models of her age group/generation... but I wonder... is it them, or the photographers and casting agents who chose them? I'm inclined to think it's them, because there's so much more that can be conveyed through the eyes. We'll see what happens in a few years when she has more real-life experience. Provided there's enough of it, sometimes accumulated wisdom and experience can come through naturally... sometimes.

This isn't as cool as the other circus-themed set that was posted recently. I like the one with the elephant, though.

Yeah, she manages to look extremely composed, but I can imagine that the behind-the-scenes leading up to it was pretty wild. I mean, what could it possibly fee like to be lifted by an elephant's trunk? Surely it's not as still as it looks, either...

these are beautiful, but the fact that they're wearing very chic clothes at the circus just makes them look removed/out of place.
