I love these, maybe because I love the fashion from the period of time chosen in this shoot. I don't get why one is in colour though. I love the contrast between the fun, 'let go of yourself' pictures and the sharp, sexy images. Love 'em.

ooh, and interesting story...I learned(everyone else probably knows, hehe) that Avedon wasn't completely satisfied with 'Dovima with elephants' b/c of how her dress bunched up at the bottom. He was a bit of a perfectionist...

eh, that was probably useless information, but yes.
